Using directions published by Leah Buchley, a partner and I set out to create jackets that could be used while wearing a bike to alert drivers you are turning.

Sewing LEDs


​By working with conductive thread, sewable LEDs and an Arduino, we created stitching paths which were sure not to short-circuit themselves.

Jacket Success


​After many hours of planning, sewing and testing, we had working jackets to ride and stay safe! My turn signals are on the wrist so they won't be obstructed by a backpack.
